Local context
Everton Park State School on Deakin Street had 497 students in 2017, and Everton Park State High School on Stafford Road had 293. Prince of Peace Lutheran College's Prep to Year 6 campus on Rogers Parade West had 761, and Northside Christian College on Flockton Street had 1,136. The state schools both run special education programs, and a 2002 boundary change brought Northside Christian College inside the suburb. A new library opened at 573 South Pine Road in March 2024, and 42.1% of local families are couples with children, so the school run is part of daily life here.
Common challenges
Several schools sit on or near busy roads such as South Pine and Stafford Roads. Campuses have junior, senior and special education areas that need separate fencing. Work during term must be kept well away from students. Budgets often come through in stages.
Why it matters
A fence a student can climb, or a gate a junior can open, puts children near traffic. Unclear drop-off areas mix children with reversing cars. Weak after-hours security invites vandalism.
Our approach
We walk the campus with staff, map supervision lines and plan each zone's fence and gates. That's how fencing in Everton Park meets school needs. Major works go in during holidays, so fencing in Everton Park keeps disruption to classes minimal.
